Dr.Lynn Schutt was born in Buffalo, New York. His father was an Air Force pilot, so Lynn, his mother, and his four brothers lived all over the world, including Alaska and Africa. He graduated from the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine, and still attends when he can every game the Buckeyes play. After his internship at South Shore Veterinary Associates in South Weymouth, Massachusetts, he worked for a year in New Haven, Connecticut. He then moved to Northern Virginia, where his parents lived since the early seventies. Dr. Schutt opened Old Town Veterinary Hospital in 1980, and then the Beacon Hill Cat Hospital in 1990. After selling those practices, he opened Belle Haven Animal Medical Centre in 2000. He has two children, Kyle and Danielle, and many pets, including three dogs, three cats and three horses. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Cynthia. They enjoy boating, skiing, biking and pretty much anything else that you can do outdoors. Dr. Doree Katz was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. She was awarded her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree at Louisiana State University. After an internship at Angell Memorial Hospital in Boston, Dr. Katz moved to Burke, Virginia and began working at Old Town Veterinary Hospital as Dr. Schutt's first associate. Dr. Katz came to Belle Haven Animal Medical Centre upon its opening in 2000. Dr. Katz loves to spend her free time with her husband, Tom, son Connor, and beloved terrier mix named Bentley. She also has two cats, a Siamese named Anthony and a domestic shorthair named Flago. Dr. Theresa Donohue was born and raised in Long Island, New York. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Vermont and was awarded her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Minnesota. After completing an internship at Angell Memorial Hospital in Boston, Dr. Donohue accepted a job with Dr. Schutt at the Old Town Veterinary Hospital in Alexandria. Dr. Donohue came to Belle Haven Animal Medical Centre upon its opening in January, 2000. Dr. Donohue loves to spend her free time reading. Dr. Donohue has two cats, O.C. and Pete. Dr. Krista Kasprenski was born and raised in Allentown, Pennsylvania. After completing undergraduate studies at Vassar, Dr. Kasprenski attended and was awarded her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania. After an internship at Veterinary Referral Associates in Gaithersburg, Maryland, Dr. Kasprenski accepted a position at Belle Haven Animal Medical Centre. Dr. Kasprenski enjoys spendDr. Janice L. Chang was awarded her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Michigan State University. After an internship at South Paws in Springfield, Virginia, Dr. Chang came to Belle Haven Animal Medical Centre as a part-time relief veterinarian. Dr. Chang enjoys traveling with her husband Omar, and spending time with her three cats, Angel, Marcel and Romeo. Dr. Elizabeth MacDonald was raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. She attended Davidson College in North Carolina and returned to California, where she was awarded her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine Degree from the University of California, Davis. After completing an internship at The Animal Medical Center in New York City, she practiced in Marin County for 7 years. Dr. MacDonald recently moved to Arlington and in her free time is kept busy by her husband, J, her daughter, Ainsley, and her son James. Their family is completed by their first "child," Dr. Watson, a cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Dr. MacDonald is very excited to join the team at Belle Haven
