Nice for a Supermarket
If you shop on a budget and have looked at the deals and coupons prior to coming in, you can have a fairly inexpensive trip to the market, and still get great value. They also have a nice selection on on alcohol in addition to other services.
Tucked away in the front left is a US Bank, which is very convenient if you have an account with them. I often get money there and then go shopping. It's a great combination.
One potential issue for some may be that there are often solicitors outside the store. Of course many markets feature them, but this one seems more common than most.
But if it's Girl Scouts cookies it's hard to mind. Man I love those cookies. You can't get those inside of Von's, so I guess that makes up for it.

Great Sit Down Diner
For us California folk this is about as close as you get to a traditional diner. It is open for all three meals and serves most breakfast food all day. The food is good, and the portions are muy grande. That combination makes up for the cost of the meal.
If you order a Lumberjack, it will likely be more food than you can eat in a single sitting. Plus, they will give you bread prior to your meal, if you ask them.
The service is always very friendly, although at times it can be slightly flaky. Nonetheless, if you go there expecting good food and a lot of it, and are willing to splurge and not expect top of the line service, you will likely leave happy.
