Voted for Meza's Towing
If you ever need roadside assistance or a tow for repair, this is the service makes the grade. The proprietor was most punctual, showing up within 30 minutes after being called, and was exceptionally friendly. He explained to me all the charges as well as informing me on what he needed to do to conduct a successful tow. I would recommend this service to anyone who wants excellent service at a fair price.

This establishment boasts good food at a reasonable price, but is really tainted by poor service. After my third visit, I just had to "call it quits". I have eaten at many establishments in San Diego, from the very top end to fast food roadkill, and the service at this place is the worst....period. I would advise anyone wanting to experience Hula's at its best to pay the fair and take a hop to Honolulu. Your experience will be much better.

What makes this place so good is the service. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and most willing to help. One customer brought in a "dead\" laptop and was most distraught. The staff was very reassuring and confident that they would be able to retrieve any and all data. I like the idea that you can go into a store that will service their product.

Voted for Hillcrest Cinema
This is the only cinema located in Hillcrest and has the distinction of being one of the few venues that shows good recent release independent flicks. What makes this place special is the convenient location (on the University Avenue exit off the CA163 Freeway), the accessible validated parking and the reasonable price per movie ($9.50 in lieu of $10.50 at other theater chains). If you are ever in the neighborhood, take this place for a spin.

For the past 47 years, this venue has been serving up authentic Italian cuisine in San Diego's Little Italy and is still going strong. What started out as a small deli and grocery has morphed into a quaint sit down restaurant with an open-air kitchen. Pizza is the specialty here, but the spaghetti is really a treat. If like the idea of dining at a "throw back" pizza joint, this is the place for you.
