Very disappointed
Had a loved one here for approx 2 months and was not even informed that she was at the end of life. Even though we had called in hospice and were there every day and night...The nurse called Hospice and not the family 30 minutes prior to passing. We were contacted by Hospice after she was already gone. Was very verbal with the nursing staff and involved with the care my loved one did and DIDNT receive. She paid for a phone in her room , but they placed it at the head of her bed and she was unable to reach it. Her tray was constantly out of reach, unable to reach her drink. Staff was not very informative as to her condition. Never once contacting us regarding her decline, we always had to inquire. After her passing, they were very involved however in getting their money.
What a shame that the money that was paid to this facility was not used to hire caring staff.
