Bowling
My family and I have been bowling in El Cajon for a long time. There used to be another bowling alley in El Cajon that was much better, but it was shut down and turned into a granite place. Bowling alleys are in short supply, as such this place is almost always packed with league players or cosmic bowling events. The open bowling during the week is really expensive, but they do offer a family discount early in the morning on the weekends. My family and I have played on a league here before and the teams you play against are fun and exciting, however the service sucks at this place. The wait staff is slow to respond and the drinks are pretty expensive. No outside drinks allowed either. The lanes are well kept and oiled for league play, but the ball return system is antiquated and gets jammed often. I have had multiple gouges taken out of my custom ball that have had to be repaired at the bowling centers expense. I have had at least 4 repairs to the ball because of damage by their equipment. Use a house ball if you are worried about your equipment being damaged. Overall it's ok, but it needs to be updated and the leagues need to be more affordabel for a couple to enjoy again. I wlll continue to go here because it is the only bowling center in east county but would consider driving elsewhere.
