My daughter loves this school
I am sure there are many great elementary schools in San Diego, but this is our favorite. They received distinguished school last year, and have the curriculum to back it up, My daughter is going in to her 4th year here and has had nothing but positive experiences. The teachers are wonderful. The PTA is wonderful. The community is wonderful. I love the family atmosphere of the school and how warm and welcoming they are. I love that that my daughter is challenged in her work and comes home loving what she has learned. I love that in a time of budget and curriculum cuts, the PTA and community are working hard to make sure that the children here have a well rounded education, including a garden, PE, drama, dance, art, and several field trips.

Great for what it is
Working in the Kearny Mesa area, it is sometimes hard to justify coming here when there are so many authentic Asian restaurants in the immediate area. It is nice that it is fast food made to order, unlike Panda Express, where you really have no idea how long that food has been sitting there. It is decent quality, although some of the dishes seem a little sugary, and while I have had a few orders messed up, who hasn't at a fast food restaurant? I do think that some dishes are a little overpriced, but if you know how to shop here, you can get amazing values. Wonton Wednesday is the best- get 6 cream cheese wontons at 25 cents each and a side salad (huge!) and you have an amazing lunch coming in at only $5.

Great Value
I had Wawanesa car insurance on my parent's policy when I was a teenager, so when I moved back to San Diego from out of state after several years, I was pleasantly surprised to find that their rates were as low as ever. Warning: they only insure good drivers, which is how they keep the rates so low, so don't bother trying if you have too many marks on your record. I researched many other car insurances, and this was by far the lowest rates for the most coverage. Easily $400- $600 lower per year than Geico, AllState, Progressive, and many other smaller companies I have looked in to. I have only had to file one claim, and had no problems whatsoever. The person on the phone was very helpful, they scheduled me for an assessment at the shop the next day, and I received a check in the mail the next week. They are also very accommodating if you cannot make a payment on time, with no penalty fees or hassle. Rates did go up this year, but they haven't raised rates in years, so I suppose it was inevitable. I haven't had experience wih their home or life insurances, so I can't speak to the qualities of these.

Yummy vegetarian food (That meat eaters usu like too)
My cousin introduced me to this place, and I was hooked immediately. As mentioned in several other reviews, it is a small place run by disciples of some sect of Eastern/ Hindu type religion. They have pamphlets and books around you can buy, but I have been there numerous times and no one has ever tried to get me to read anything or even talked about it unless I asked. There is a constantly rotating menu of delicious foods with all different culture flairs, with a few staples such as the "Neatloaf," which I have had meatloaf loving friends swear by. All in all a very relaxing experience. The servers are very friendly and accommodating, and I have even had the chef come out and make sure I liked everything. I have not been disappointed with the food here yet, and would highly recommend it to anyone who is vegetarian, anyone who is exploring vegetarian options, or anyone who just wants to try something new!
