Dr. Lewis!
I found Rose Dental Group highly rated on Yelp, and so made an appointment. Everyone was pleasant and nice to me, as expected. I went in to have my molars (with huge fillings) examined and it was recommended that I get porcelain inlays. These are VERY expensive!!! Yet, Dr. Lewis proceeded to drill and drill and drill on that one molar that had a big ole' filling. I was in the office for nearly two hours because he had to keep injecting novocaine because the hole was so big.
It was at precisely that point he should have stopped and told me I needed a crown on that tooth instead. Yet, I guess they make more money off porcelain inlays because he never retreated from the then present course.
A few months afterwards, I had sharp sensations in that tooth and went back to Dr. Lewis. His only solution was to file down the nice, expensive inlay. That did not help, so he recommended a root canal! I was very upset and left the office without any solution at all. As I was leaving, he reminded me that he "has over 20 years experience" in dental work! As if... seriously!
After that I went to see another dentist and an orthodontist, both of whom confirmed that my tooth was cracked. It cracked because of the big ole' hole Dr. Lewis drilled that left the walls too thin! Talk about Mad Cowboy Disease - I should have known when he reminded me of "all" that experience he has... Always trust your instinct.
I'm so mad for spending $1600 dollars on Rose Dental Group. Fortunately, Dr. Lewis has left the group. Nevertheless, I hope many people will read this and act with caution!
