Fridays is my go-to place if I'm looking to stay local and drink on the cheap. I used to be a huge fan of Rock Bottom, but that place is severely lacking in personable interactions. After patronizing an establishment 100+ times, you would think that the wait staff would tend to treat me as a regular (e.g. greeted with a smile, not carded, "can I get you the usual?" etc.), but it's never the case. On the other hand, stepping into Fridays feels more like Cheers - the bartenders are happy to see me, the service is great and the pours are heavy. Why drink anywhere else?

Great value!
This restaurant's been around for as long as I can remember, and for good reason: they serve up good food at reasonable prices. Those looking to get their menudo fix should stop by on the weekend.
