Annapolis Dermatology Associate

Dr. Lisa Renfro has the experience and expertise to care for the myriad of challenges that present among the people living in our region.As a board-certified Dermatologist, and Mohs surgeon and Dermatologic surgeon, Dr. Renfro has performed over 12,000 skin cancer surgeries in her career. Dr. Renfro has extensive experience with malignant melanoma, basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma, in addition to sebaceous carcinoma, extramammary Paget's disease, malignant fibrous histiocytoma, dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans, and microcystic adnexal carcinoma.Her education includes undergraduate bachelors degrees from Syracuse University and the University of Connecticut, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with election to Phi Beta Kappa.After graduation from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, she trained in internal medicine at Boston University.Subsequently, she completed residency training in dermatology at New York University's Skin and Cancer Hospital where she was appointed chief resident.After receiving her board certification in general dermatology, Dr. Renfro completed specialty fellowship training in dermatologic surgery and Mohs micrographic surgery, also at New York University's Skin and Cancer Hospital.
