Delicious
Delicious seafood! Service tends to be slow and the noise level tends to be loud. This makes eating here better for a large group (plan ahead and order drinks when you sit down).

My husband and I nailed our 'first dance'
My husband and I took lessons from Izzy so we could dance at our wedding. She is extremely knowledgeable and made the experience a lot of fun!

Oh, and your first class is free. :)

Good food and excellent margaritas! Wish they would bring back the 2 for 1 burrito special on Thursdays.

Lime olive oil + Blackberry vinegar = Margarita flavor
...Which believe it or not, makes a killer salad dressing. There's an olive oil and vinegar tasting bar set up all throughout the day where experts can show you how to properly taste and mix flavors of olive oil. This is actually very interesting and I guarantee if you do this, you'll walk out with a purchase.

In the back they have a little patio with an awesome view where you can enjoy a glass of wine and a cheese/meat platter. The food is very good.

I go here also to buy gifts. I will say that it's not inexpensive, but you get what you pay for. They also have mustards and other spreads too. You can bring in bottles from home for them to fill with olive oil and vinegar, which is obviously very eco-friendly.

Working with Dave and Jose over the last... almost 4 months has great. I love the full body workout that Muay Thai provides! The environment here is great and the gym is always tidy. :)

Great fish restaurant in P.B.!
This is a great fish restaurant in P.B. The food is really good, high quality and fresh. It's on the pricey side, but the quality justifies it. The saviche is great as are the fish tacos which is what I keep going back for. They allow dogs on their outside patio and have a wide assortment of beers. Sign up for MOGL and save 10% :)

Bought bedding here
I didn't feel like shopping around and I needed a mattress pad and pillows for my daughter's bedroom. I bought some eco-friendly Martha Stewart products here that I'm happy with. It seems that bed and bath products are always on sale at Macy's. And the day I went in, they were on sale too. The only thing that bugged me was the sales guy tailing me throughout the section and trying to upsell me a few times.

The store hasn't had a facelift in the almost 20 years I've lived in San Diego/La Jolla. It needs it. Some of the sections look cluttered and tired. That being said, I can always score bargain in the kids section. They have a lot of Disney and other character clothes and pjs. I can usually find what I need in here, but it's just not the first place I go anymore.

Kid friendly, but not my favorite
If you want a super kid friendly sit down lunch at UTC mall, unless you go to the food court, this is it. It's got a nice family atmosphere but I think it's problem is that the food is just ok. My daughter had a kids hamburger and I had a cajun chicken sandwich. Both were reasonably good but didn't knock my socks off, especially for the price. In fact, her hamburger was a bit salty, which made me nervous about the quality of the meat (it's probably fine).

The upside is that the bathrooms are clean and they have balloons. Also, if you'd like a glass of wine or a cocktail this can be achieved too. It's located near Macy's around the corner from Gap Kids. I often forget it's there because it's kind of hidden. The desserts here are also pretty good too.

New location, really great service as always
I stop into Sees candy every Christmas shopping season to pick up little gifts and a box of candy. It's kind of a tradition that we have that big box of nuts and chews for people to snack on. I always look forward to the sample chocolate they offer you when you buy. However, this year they seem to have more truffle flavors, or at least I noticed them on display. I wasn't going to buy them (or at least I thought I wasn't) but when I asked if the egg nog truffle was any good, they gave me a sample. That's on top of the usual one, I had just downed. And of course, the egg nog truffle was to die for. Other than the ones with the cherries on the inside, I haven't met a Sees candy that I don't like. They have just awesome customer service and I need to remember to stop in for gifts throughout the year and not just at Christmas time!

Huge new store
This store is a huge improvement from the smaller one they used to have in this mall. They have a big selection of Reef and Rainbow flip flops and a big selection of TOMS Shoes for both men and women. It would be way easier to buy TOMS here than at Nordstrom because here you can just pull your size off the rack to try them on instead of waiting for a sales person to fetch them for you. They have the wedges too.

I came here for mens accessories. They have a big selection of Neff bets, beanies and watches. Also quite a few Nixon watches which are all the rage among teen boys. The staff was young and helpful. They clearly knew the trends and what is popular. I would definitely shop here again.

Surprised and will be back
I went here for the first time to look for teen/tween accessories to use on a TV segment. Since I have a 4 year old, I was a little bit out of my depth. I arrived right when the store opened so there was no one there. The sales lady helped me choose hats, handbags, necklaces, scarves, glasses and told me what is appropriate and popular for each age group. And, the quality was better than I expected. In fact, this store isn't just for teens and tweens - it's really for all ages. There are plenty of scarves and hair accessories I could see myself wearing. And you'll never spend a fortune either. They have a good return policy for everything - 30 days with the receipt. They get an A+ for customer service from me.

It is a little bit sensory overload because they have so much in this store. Inventory must be a bear!

Fun to work with and watch
I occasionally appear on NBC San Diego's California NonStop so have to go to the station. Everyone on the staff has been incredibly nice. As a guest, it's a surprisingly stress free atmosphere which makes the idea of appearing on live TV easier for me to handle. It's fun.

They are hands down the most active local station on social media. In fact, I get a lot of my news from their tweets and their Facebook page. I don't watch too much TV lately, but I will turn into the early morning show and 4pm news when I can.

I would move in, if I could
Despite it's small size, they carry a pretty good assortment of hard to find cheese. We took home several blue cheeses and a manchego. All were just so superior to what you can find at a Trader Joe's or even Whole Foods. I also like that you can pretty much taste whatever you like before you buy. This to me is important since you are paying a bit of a premium. They also have a small selection of crackers, chocolates and gifts for cheese lovers. I make a point of stopping in here every time I'm at Flower Hill mall. My 4 year old says it's stinky inside (hello, it's gourmet cheese) but gets over it immediately after her first sample. I also like that they sell little remnants wrapped in cellophane. It's perfect when you just want a bite or want to try something new but are in a hurry.
