Toyota oil change and 60k tune-up
Found Elite Lexus Service Center from Google 2 months ago and loved how easy the process went in getting my Toyota serviced. I took my Toyota Camry in last Monday for an "oil change" and 60k maintenance service. The Toyota dealership quoted me $750 before I found Elite Lexus Service Center. I paid $295 at Elite Lexus Service Center and they said that the Toyota dealer should have included the Toyota oil change with the 60k maintenance service. I won't be back to the dealer anytime soon, the mechanics at Elite Lexus Service Center are more honest in their pricing.

Best Toyota Service in San Diego
There are many reasons why I go to Elite Lexus Service Center to service my Toyota. One of the reasons is that they are the more inexpensive Toyota repair shops in San Diego. Another reason is that I never feel like I'm just another customer. They have always give me more than reasonable quotes on Toyota maintenance service. Mechanics are certified by Lexus so they can handle my Toyota repairs with ease.

Huge portions
I went to The Tractor Room as part of a Meetup brunch, it was my first time there and I was impressed with it. It was very crowded since it was Sunday, but we were seated at our reserved time in a very comfortable area outside with a heat lamp keeping us warm.
The waiting area has picnic tables, complimentary water and coffee and even a ping pong table, makes the wait go by a lot faster.
The menu is definitely for meat lovers with elk, boar and buffalo among the choices. It was difficult to choose, since the also have flapjacks and french toast for those wanting something sweet instead of savory. The portions are huge, depending on how much you eat, each plate can be the equivalent of 2 or 3 meals, so be prepared to take a lot of food home.
They do give you as many boxes as you need to take your food, and you can also ask for a paper bag to take all your boxes.
Parking will be a challenge so be prepared, with some luck you'll find parking, otherwise you might need to get in pay parking lots.
The food was very good and the drinks looked great. If you have claustrophobic tendencies avoid being seated inside, it's very crowded and dark. Great place for brunch!

Clear View cleaned our home's windowson Friday. They were running a special in our neighborhood so the price was great. They were on time, very friendly, and did a great job. Highly recommended!

Seafood and Horse Races
I love finding new places or being taken to them.
My wonderful friend, Amy, took me to lunch at Brigantine in Del Mar. I've been to the one on Coronado and wasn't very impressed. Therefore, I really did not have high expectations for this one. Whoa! Was I wrong - this place was amazing! This restaurant has a cottage feel and the scenery is beautiful. We sat in the patio area that was enclosed with big glass windows so that you can catch the sunset or the horse races at the Del Mar Fairgrounds during the right season.
We ordered a seafood dip and some salads. I had a small shrimp salad and she had a steak salad made to order. If I wasn't there during a work lunch I would have ordered something else on their menu. Just thinking about their menu makes me salivate. This was definitely a 10 rating in my book.

awesome auto glass repair
These guys are great. I've had them replace a windshield in the past and they did a great job with top quality glass replacement for a Nissan Pathfinder that had defrost wiring in the glass. Was just there today to get a chip fixed in a window on my new FJ. Was in and out in 20 minutes. Very professional, fast and good quality. Go here for auto glass repair.

Nice guys, but could not fix my problem
Nice guys but could not fix my particular problem with my pathfinder. The button to put it in gear would not always work and had to press on it numerous times to get it into gear. Brought it there with the part to fix it and still could not be fixed. The recommended an entire new transmission. For basic stuff or checks up they are worth talking to. They only charged me a nominal fee for the inspection since they could not fix my particular problem.

This is not a very thrifty store, the items are highly priced but you can find many vintage items and antiques in very good shape.
As you walk through the store you can see books, clothing and interesting things resting on chairs or tables. The overall effect is very homey and feels like walking through an attic (minus the dust)

Heard good things but was dissapointed
I heard good things about this sushi restaurant but was a bit dissapointed. We had to wait about twenty minutes for a seat at the sushi bar when there were over a dozen open. The staff was really nice and friendly, the sushi chef was charming, and the sushi tasted good but unfortunately we got a light case of food poisoning. Not good on a date or any night. Not sure I'll give them another try or not.

Went there on a Wednesday night and was surprised to see the restaurant packed. I was also surprised by the authentic Italian decoration and the cozy atmosphere.
Food was pretty good. I had the spaguetti carbonara. It wasn't the best I've ever had, but I really enjoyed the home-made feel their food had. Service was slow since the restaurant was filled and there was only one waitress.
I really enjoyed it though and will back for sure.

Veterinary Specialty Hospital Saved My Dogs Life
Veterinary Specialty Hospital Save My Dogs Life. He hurt his back, and it progressively got worse until his spinal cord was pinched and his rear end was paralyzed. His only choices were to be put down / put to sleep or surgery to remove the ruptured disck fragments and tissue and the prognosis for survival and recovery was high at 90%. Even though the costs were astronomical, in the high thousands of dollars, it was worth it. If you have an emergency pet situation bring your dog here. *AND GET PET INSURANCE FIRST*. Spinal surgergy, any major surgery costs thousands from a few to $8k or even more. Smaller emergencies like stitches from a dog fight puncture are surely far less. Last but not least Grand Animal Hospital - my main vet recommended we take him here.

If you are looking for a pet or pet food or large aquarium or terrarium you will find great value here. As far as the little things for making your pets enclosure more like a healthy home (heaters, humidifiers, bedding, basking etc) I've found these items to be close to 2x the cost as buying them online.
