This restaurant's been around for as long as I can remember, and for good reason: they serve up good food at reasonable prices. Those looking to get their menudo fix should stop by on the weekend.

Stay Classy, Hemet
It may not be Ruth's Chris, but you're still going to get a very good meal, here. Steaks are cooked well and the accompaniments add to the meal. The martinis here also come highly recommended.

Great gym!
It's good that real estate is cheap as it gives this gym plenty of room to spread out. There is a pool, a cardio area, a weight room and aerobic rooms. Things can get a little crowded during peak hours, but overall the facility has a lot to offer.

After work oasis
Good place to meet up for some drinks and well-priced food. On the evening I was there, the waitstaff was attentive and efficient. Also a great place to watch sporting events.

One amazing burger.
As a child of about 10, I was introduced to the tastiness that is an In-N-Out burger shortly after this franchise came to town. Even to this day, I still remember that first taste of what I'd considered to be one of the most amazing hamburgers I'd ever eaten. Years and years later, they're still offering up the same amazing food and I'm happy to relive that childhood moment whenever I'm in town.

Use in case of emergency
With none of the big box electronic retailers peddling their wares in Hemet, that pretty much leaves Wal-Mart and Radioshack or a trip to Temecula whenever electronic supplies are needed. I usually end up here when in the middle of such a project as I find Radioshack a little overpriced and lacking in selection. This location is also open 24 hours a day, another rarity in this town.

Drive-thru Deliciousness
Whenever I'm in Hemet and craving a gyro, this is the spot. A quick trip through the drive-thru and I'm all set. Can't say I've tried much else off their menu, but others have told me that their other food is good.

Voted for Chappies
Long-standing Hemet bar
Chappies isn't a country bar, but it's got almost every character from Toby Keith's "I love this bar." Not a lot of yuppies, though. Chappies has been in Hemet for as long as I can remember and its clientele is equally loyal. There's an outdoor area in back for the smokers, Naugahyde booths for those who want to relax and plenty of free flowing booze coming from behind the bar.
