It’s Aliiiiiiive!

It’s Aliiiiiiive! MojoPages Alpha is live on the internet. Yeah baby!
So what exactly is Alpha? Alpha basically means the first live version of the website. It has most of the functionality but needs to get the bugs worked out of it before we do a full Beta release that is open to the public.
How do I get access to the Alpha site? Well, you have to sign up on MojoPages.com. We’ve actually had a surprisingly large number of Alpha sign-ups (huge thank you to everyone who signed up, we love you!) so we’re going to be granting access to people in phases on a first come first serve basis. The first phase is already underway. Every few days we will be allowing access for another phase of people.
Why don’t you just let everyone in right now? We’re releasing access to Alpha in phases so we can manage all the feedback and ensure every user gets heard. There is a whole collecting, analyzing and executing process that occurs with each phase of Alpha testers.
So when will the Beta version be live? Our plan is to work together closely with all Alpha users for the next 6 – 12 weeks. During this time we will be making improvements and ironing out remaining bugs within the website. That will put us at a Beta release (open public access with more functionality to come) in January at the earliest or February at the latest. It all depends on the feedback we get from Alpha testers. If we get some great ideas from Alpha testers we might decide it’s best to implement those changes before releasing Beta which will push back the launch date back until we can finish the new functionality.
What’s it like on MojoPages Alpha? I’ve been playing around on the website with Rodney and some of the other initial Alpha users. It’s very cool, slightly addicting, very buggy and a whole lot of fun. Using some of the functionality for the first time has me and the other users giggling like school kids.
Where’s the 5th episode of the video series? We took most of last week off to spend time with our families. They almost forgot we existed from our obsessive work habits around this MojoPages launch. So the 5th Episode will be coming out next Tuesday the 5th.
Is that the last episode? We’ve gotten such positive response from our little video series that we’ve decided to keep it going. We’ve committed to continue the video series at least through January and depending on how things work out we may just keep it as an ongoing part of the MojoPages experience.
Let us know if you think we should keep the video going or if you’ve had enough. Now stop asking so many questions, I’ve got work to do back in the lab on my creature.
Jon

Congrats on the startup. Looking forward to following the company and its endeavors.
*** Looking for a little personal advice on a few ideas of my own if anyone is willing to speak with me… seems there is plenty of knowledge out there waiting to be learned.
Again, congratulations!
