We are going to be blogging about our web 2.0 start-up www.mojopages.com We will also be tellling the story of our start-up via a documentary series of videos as well as blog posts from all of the team members.

30 Days to Launch: a Video Documentary that provides a behind the scenes look into the life of a start-up. We are hoping to inform and entertain at the same time so that people can see what life is really like at a start-up and all of the challenges that we face on a regular basis.
We have all been working like crazy, I actually just shaved for the first time in days (my wife was starting to wonder about my appearance). It was my job to get the Blog set up and all tweaked in and humming along. Feel free to leave comments as we really want to hear what you think as this will help us to build a better service…and we need all the encouragement that we can get.

    Hi

Let me be the first to leave a response to your blog. I came across your video by accident and from there, decided to investigate your web site. I’m not in a position to critique in detail your 2 drafts of your web page except to say that I prefer Image 1 for the reasons you have outlined - it’s crisp, clean and uncluttered. However, I would like to congratulate you on what I think is an absolutely fantastic business idea - the concept is exceptional in its simplicity and potentially very disruptive to the traditional Yellow Pages. I know it’s early days but was just wondering whether you intend going global with this or will you be focused exclusively on the US market. I live in Ireland and work in the telecoms business and I can see this application being successful in Irish and other European markets.

Best of luck - I will be watching with interest.

    Hello Peter,
We hope to go global with this idea. We actually built our system to be able to function in other languages without any rebuilding, so it’s been in our plans since the beginning. First we will be focusing on the US and once we get to critical mass we will be exploring other countries. The European markets are definitely on the top of our list. Want to start our Ireland office? :)
