one unhappy cat mama!
Im sorry to have to write a review, which i have never done before. But im in need of letting out some frustration. I have brought my chihuahua here as well as my cat. Everything was wonderful, friendly staff and what not. My issue with this place is i brought my cat to this place now 3 times for the same problem. they send me on my way with my meds and a bill of around 150. Well now that i am fed up with giving him these meds which are not working, the vet tells me he will need surgery to fix the problem. i am ok with surgery cuz i want him to be healthy. when the estimate delivery boy came in with a nearly 2100.00 bill, i about fell on the floor. he had absolutely no compassion for me and left the room. when the vet came back in she said she said the estimate was made for a 150 pound dog and it will go down a little. well a little was 150 dollars. I am very frustrated with this place. not only did they loose a 2000.00 dollar proprective sale, they lost my business all together. i will be returning to my normal close nit small family owned practice right up the street. i am sick of paying the salaries of the vet techs and drs who charge waaay to much for a much needed surgery.

In Response to Tina M by Donna S. at InsiderPages
I have been going to this hospital for over 8 years now and I have a lot of pets so I fully understand a lot about caring for pets and this hospital & I just wanted to comment on some of the statements that you made. First of all I noticed that you were forced to go here which is interesting because if you had a bad experience why would you continue to go back? The only conclusion that I can surmise is that they did in fact take care of your pets to your reasonable satisfaction. The other comment that you made was that you went there for life-threatening emergencies. Just as with people, if you make an appointment & go in to a doctor office it is much cheaper than a trip to the emergency room with a life-threatening illness. You could spend close to $20,000 or more! Since you claim that you only went in for life-threatening emergencies, wouldn't you expect to pay more? Also, I have been to several emergency vet offices before I found Yorba Regional & let me assure you that the prices are comparable...because it was an emergency. Addressing their staff, I was very impressed by the number of people. Then I remembered that this is a large hospital with a large number of animals & so they cannot be staffed like a small animal clinic & be expected to provide quality care to each animal. So this large staff is simply there for your pet's benefit. I also find it interesting that you mention the staff's fake smiles. I would much rather walk in and be greeted with a smile than the alternative. Your comment about the 5 plasma TVs is just ridiculous. I have to take my cat in about once a week and I know very well that there are only 2, and I don't think lying about that bodes well for you. Not only that, but the assumption that these TVs are for the staff is ridiculous. They are there for us and for our comfort, same thing with the exam room. I'm sure that you w

You get what you pay for
THIS IS AN UPSCALE HOSPITAL FOR PEOPLE WHO CARE ABOUT THERE ANIMALS LIKE MEMBERS OF THERE OWN FAMILY.
IF YOU ARE JUST LOOKING FOR CHEAP RUN OF THE MILL SERVICE THIS PLACE IS NOT FOR YOU
IF YOU WANT ONLY THE BEST CARE THIS IS YOUR PLACE

EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS HOSPITAL IS STATE OF THE ART FOR PEOPLE WHO WANT THE BEST. OF COURSE YOU ARE GOING TO PAY MORE!! ITS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SUPERCUTS AND A HIGH CLASS SALON; WALMART OR NORDSTROMS.
i have seen so many dirty, unkept vet hosp with staff that should have retired years ago. this hospital is spotless and up to date with all the latest technology. Most vets will not have the means to deliver complicated diagnosis like this hospital can. WOULD YOU TAKE A GAMBLE ON YOUR PETS LIFE OVER A FEW BUCKS!!
OF COURSE THERE'S A WAIT, GOOD SERVICE IS IN HIGH DEMAND.
WHY WOULD ANYONE THINK THAT A PRICE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN YOUR PET STAYING IN A DIRTY CONCRETE RUN VS. A DECORATED SUITE WITH WEB CAMS AND A PLUSH DAY BED IS OUTRAGEOUS. THAT DOESNT TAKE A GENIUS TO FIGURE OUT.
WHY WOULD INVESTING IN YOUR PETS BEST INTEREST AND CREATING A HIGH CLASS ENVIRONMENT AT SLIGHTLY HIGHER PRICES BE GREEDY??
my pets are everything to me and I'm willing to pay for the best
i get my dog groomed here as well by Marylou. She gives a haircut that looks absolutely show quality and is the most caring groomer i have met.

Emergency Veterinarian by Shellie B. at InsiderPages
I took my pet there for an emergency and that place is huge! They have everything you could possibly need from a general veterinarian. The staff is friendly and they took great care of my dog.

Beware Of This Money Grubbing Vet!!! by Tina M. at InsiderPages
OMG where to begin with this place?!?! This vet is truly disgusting in my honest opinion and they seriously need to be shut down. I've had many experiences with this vet hospital so I know first hand what they are all about. I've taken my pomeranian, toy poodle, and my 3 cats there out of desperation multiple times because of unfortunate situations. Also it doesn't help that they are about 5 minutes away from my house. I'm not sure where to even begin since I've always had a sick feeling going into their place. When you walk in, their office staff instantly greet you with their fake smiles. It also makes you wonder how they can afford so many employees since they are all over the place. Also it makes me question how they find the means to have like 5 plasma TVs in the waiting room and numerous themed checkup rooms that are furnished very nicely. Well my theory is that they can easily pay for these extra expenses by ripping off their clients by hugely overcharging on all of their services! They are a totally money grubbing vet and they 100% take advantage of pet owners. I truly believe they play on peoples' heart strings in order for them to let them help their animal. For example, they make you pay up front for services they haven't even performed yet on your pet and always add on unnecessary items to rack up on the bill. They are true money pigs and will always be in it for the money rather than the well being the of the animal. I am sick of this place and I hope to never step foot in here again. It makes me sick to my stomach how much I've paid for this rip off place. They are nearly double than any other vets' prices and always over estimate on their invoices. They not only capitalize on the emotions of vulnerable owners of sick pets, but they make each item on the bill seem somewhat reasonable only for it to all add up to a 4-figured invoice. I am not cheap in t
