Cool place. Huge selection of beer, supposedly the largest selection in town. They have a broad menu and great service. I've been there at least a dozen times and was never dissapointed. They have an awesome walnut pear salad that is my favorite. The ambience is cool, more like a restaurant than a bar.

My friend and I sat at the bar since the place was super crowded...on a Tuesday night no less! The bartender was super friendly and nice and the place was fun. I'm on a healthy kick so it was a little challenging to find a healthy entree but they have a very extensive menu. Lettuce wraps were pretty good, fries were awesome, pizza was good, iceberg salad was okay... there is also a downstairs area where there is music and dancing on the weekend nights (went a while back, I think they still have this...). All in all a great place and pretty consistent experience (they're a chain).

This place does really nice food, and was the ideal place to go for our first year's anniversary. They have a LOT of beers and you can do the yard of ale (careful you don't spill it everywhere) or settle for a half yard - which I did. The only problem is that the drinking vestibule is made of thin moulded glass, so I spent the night petrified I was going to smash it. Still, the food portions are generous and the price tag isn't through the roof, good enough for my skint-ass! I highly recommend it to anyone without too much of a nervous disposition.

Happy hour here is pretty awesome. If you don't like beer all that much, you can actually find something that you might like. Me and my friends like to come here because the atmosphere here is comfortable enough for us to just enjoy time together, though it can get loud sometimes when games are on. We usually order a bunch of appetizers (which are half off) and save lots of money while feeling just right, with one or two beers. Parking is a bit hard to find because of the location in Downtown. For a tasty beer, I'd recommend the “Purple Haze” or the Blue Hawaiian Hefenweizen!
