Great place for breakfast on the weekends because they will serve it all day. Lunch specials all week and some pretty good burgers. Patty melts, sandwiches, soups and some of the best milk shakes Ive ever had. Topping it all off is this great place called the PurpleMooon inside the same building that has some of the most unique stuff to shop. Prices are really down to earth at both the Grill and PurpleMooon. Eat and Shop. I like it !

Yale Grill is a fun and comfy family place to eat. We love dropping by after Sunday Mass to have breakfast. Food is very simple but good and the staff is very friendly. There's also a large gift/antiques shop in the building that's fun to puruse. My daughter especially loves sitting at the old lunch counter!

If you want high-end food and service, stay away.

If you want downhome, neighborhood food and service - you'll love it.

This is one of my favorite places to go grab breakfast on the weekend. The staff is always friendly. The prices are great. And, while there's nothing fancy about the food, it's consistantly good. They serve Community Coffee which is also a plus in my book. Try the breakfast tacos - they're not on the menu but they'll be glad to make some for you. If you're in the mood to meet new friends, sit at the long old-fashion counter and introduce yourself to whoever is sitting next to you.

We love the breakfast, staff, and atmosphere of the Yale Street Grill. The food is wonderful. The best comfort food you could ask for. A great place to people watch as well. You should definately try it out. The gift shop is fun as well!

I heard about this place through a friend, and I'm glad I tried it! The building itself is on a crowded corner lot, and looks weathered... like most other structures in the Heights. Inside: very casual, but clean! Good burgers, french fries, onion rings, and excellent chocolate malts. A friend tells me that the chicken fried steak sandwich is wonderful, so I'll try it next time.
