Been going for years and travel alot and this is still my favorite sushi place, i love supporting mom and pop places, not chains of sushi restaurants. Fallbrook is a great place, and this restaurant is in a perfect location, super fresh and super cheap. great food and great staff.‎

I have no idea what the other reviewer is talking about, and perhaps is the owner of one of Yama's rivals! I have been going to Yama's since they opened and absolutely love it every single time. From a simple California Roll to the complex "No-Name", every single piece is amazing in both taste and structure. Hank, the owner, is all smiles, and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. This gem is tucked away in a strip mall in Fallbrook, but well worth the drive from anywhere in San Diego. Highly recommended. Order the Green Mussel and the No-Name roll and tell them Travis sent you!‎

Top Notch Sushi!! I've eaten at some of the best Sushi restaurants in NY City, Boston, and many other large cities and Yama is right in there. ALWAYS fresh, great flavor combos, great service.
