Nice gym, but pushy.
My aim isn?t to come on here and bash someone by name. I think that is stupid and it damages people?s careers. However, I would like to say that a few days ago, I went into the Logan Square location for a price list, which I was then redirected to wait for a consultant. The consultant I received was very nice, but he was also unprofessional at times. I grinned and bared with the hour long song and dance throughout the entire gym. But halfway through, I saw the consultation turning in a negative direction. Profanity was used during a discussion, not negatively, but in a description of some equipment in the gym? which I still think is unacceptable. And upon me expressing that I knew what type of workout I was most comfortable with, he replied that I was being ?stubborn?. I earnestly felt like asking him if he called all his potential clients names, but I recanted and didn?t feel it was worth my energy. Also, my initial interest was to get a price guide with which I can discuss with my significant other, and after the tour he challenged my decision by asking ?well do you always need to ask your boyfriend for EVERYTHING?? , and ?don?t you make any decisions on your own??. I couldn?t believe how abrasive this guy was being. My personal values are none of his business. I appreciated his enthusiasm, but he has a lot to learn about good customer service. Bottom line, it was a beautiful gym, but I just felt too pushed. A word of advice, if this person is reading this, please take a step back and allow the customer to come to terms with the situation. Being too pushy will ultimately push the person away. Everything else about the gym was wonderful.
