I sent a brand new hat for some binding on the edge. Before that, I called and was attended to, by a gentleman named Brandon. He told me exactly what to do. I thought I'd have to wait weeks (like other places I've delt with). It took a total of nine days! I was surprised and very, very pleased. They have definitely earned my respect and business!

what a selection
While in midtown having lunch with my visiting relatives I asked them what they wanted to do next .
My uncle said he wanted to buy himself a new hat so I googled hatshop in midtown and up came Worth & Worth. It sits perched up on the 6th floor on 57th street. At first I found it odd that a store would not be on the ground floor. But when we came up the elevator we were greeted by a cheerful lovely lady and by a rainbow color of hats.Immediately the lady measured my uncles head and asked a few question of the type of hat he wanted. She then selected a sage green fedora placed it on his head and my uncle was astounded by its light weight and suppleness. The lady then informed us that we could modify the hat by adding beautiful linings made of silks , we then selected from there choices sat down while their workshop which is in the rear of the store hand sewed our new lining in. After a few minutes the hat returned it was a work of art.My uncle has traveled the world and has purchased many hats in most of his favorite cities but he acclaims by far this was an old world delight. Thank you Worth & Worth

Don't be fooled by this Business.
I highly recommend you do not order or send an item to this merchant for repairs. I dropped off a fine umbrella which I purchased in England during my honeymoon. Unfortunately it broke so I dropped it off at worth and worth for repairs. I had previously purchased 2 hats and assorted items from this establishment. Well, after around 6-8 weeks, I called on numerous occasions to see if it was available. I even stopped by several times to pick it up. Each time I was told, "its not ready", "call on Monday", its "not in the shop" etc. Then Orlando the owner explained after I showed up unexpectedly, "oh, its in Italy, they lost it." This con artist then tells me he will be in Italy and find it. Once again, I showed up after he dodged my calls and explained this item had sentimental value. He tells me "oh, its in my warehouse we could go there but I have to watch the shop" He then agrees to ship it to me, and guess what? It never arrives and emails are never returned. Don't waste your time with this guy, shop at Bailey hats on 5th ave. Their service is excellent. Thanks Orlando, try losing this review in Italy. Ciao!

Great Hats
I just came from a lovely hat store in midtown Worth & Worth. The staff was very informed and knew immediately my headsize .Orlando pick two straw hats which he thought would suit me best. The first was a coco colored straw with a pastel green band and a 2 1/4 " brim it fit perfect! The next was on of the fine Montecristi Panamas a Havana style. I did not care for the band on the hat so Orlando suggested they could change it , and within a matter of 20minutes i had a new band and i was headed out the door with 2 new hats. I highly recommend this store.

Awful services. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
I purchased a hat I February to be delivered. They charged American express right away. They know how to do that but aside from that they can' t do much. It took four moths to get the hat as apposed to the four week promised. I finally had to call every single day and ask more questions. No one returned call and I pretty much got a different excuse each time I called. I have never been lied to as much by a retailer. Being given the run-around by this place is an understatement. It was the worst service I have ever received and they should be embarrassed by the service and behavior. It makes me wonder how they stay in business.
