World Famous lives up to it's name. Great restaurant and bar right on the boardwalk in Pacific Beach. Great menu and especially when it comes to fish dishes

I had the pleasure of having a "business meeting" here the other day. It's January, the sun was out and I actually got a little sunburned sitting on the patio. You can't beat the ambiance. It's right on the beach.

I ordered a veggie omelette that was enormous and way more than I could eat. My friend ordered breakfast too and between us we had a bunch of bloody mary's. The bill was ridiculously cheap.

It was Monday morning and the restaurant was not too crowded, though street parking was full. I parked in the structure on Mission Blvd that is about a block away. It's free on weekday mornings, anyway.

I have had lunch here and can recommend the shrimp and fish tacos wholeheartedly. On weekends they have valet parking which is a huge bonus.

Price range is for 2 people and a bunch of drinks.

I recently stopped by World Famous for some apps. I was very pleasantly suprised, everything we ordered was excellent. I recommend the prime rib bites with horshradish dipping sauce. The fish taco was good to. <br />

It's located right on the ocean so the view and ambiance is very cool. The staff is a little slow to serve but they eventually get to you.

I would come here Tuesday nights with friends. They have a special in which Shrimp tacos are $1, but you have to purchase a drink (which doesn't have to be alcoholic). Pretty good deal, and I'™d say 2-3 tacos would fill you up.
On Tuesdays they would separate the restaurant into two areas, one for the Taco Specials and one for their regular fare. The tacos are good, but there's a long line of customers all waiting for the same thing.
The hot sauce is homemade and spicy the way I like it, and packing the right amount of flavor to the tacos which have breaded fried shrimp and cabbage.
Tuesdays bring more of the younger crowd; though we can'™t argue we all love a good deal.

Just about every time I have visitors in town I take them to World Famous... you can't beat the view, the bloody mary's, and the great food. The place is right on the beach in PB, and it is sort of indoors/outdoors as there is plastic over the part of the building that is closest to the ocean. If going for breakfast on the weekend parking is only $1. They also have valet for $5 bucks.
Warning, the wait can be awhile, so put your name in and then go to the coffee shop beside them (if facing the beach it is on the right of the building)
Some food highlights:
The benedicts, especially the South Beach, I love the pork hash egg breakfast, and I hear their fish tacos are great as well. I haven't done Taco Tuesday hear but I hear good things:)
