Really Good Place
My great aunt lived here for several years and while she has passed away I will forever remember the love she received here.
I had heard horror stories about senior places and while there must be some truth to them I now know not every place is like that.
What can I say...I have tears in my eyes remembering my great aunt and how she loved the people there and how they loved her.
Price Range: $2,500 - $5,000

It's a scam!!!
My grandmother stayed at this horrid place and wouldn't recommend it anyone!!!!!
The Administrator, Tanya, is mean, rude, uncompromising, and altogether nasty. She made my grandmother change her doctor and home health nurse even though my grandmother has Medicare and has the ultimate right to choose.
They told my grandmother that if she wants to have low rent and live there, she must use the home health agency which they work with. According to Medicare, she can choose the home health agency and the nurse. They scared her into thinking that she has to use whatever company they want her to use.
They are next to the freeway and have bad air quality escpecially for old sick people.
How can they be so much cheaper than other similar homes in the area??? They must be doing fraud.
My grandmother was born and raised here and she's a tough cookie.
She already filed a complaint with Medicare and Department of Health Services.
Do some research before you send you loved ones there!

Everything is better now.
My Grandpa had lived in Las Vegas for the last many years. My Dad and I visit him once a year and this past spring we discovered he's not eating, cleaning or taking his medication.
We decided to move him near us here in the valley. Searched a bunch of places and found this one. He can afford it and seems to enjoy it. We take him home for dinners and I take him out with my GF to movies and stuff.
I'm glad we found this place and it seems my Dad is more relaxed now.
So we recommend this place and the people working there.
Just my 2 cents.

Great Location and really nice and hard workers.
My Mother and Father moved from out of state to be near us. Sadly, my Mother passed away some time later and we were really worried about Dad.
This place saved his life. He is full of life and very active now.
Our fears are gone and we are so pleased that is back to his old self again. He is going on trips and calls us to go out to dinner and my husband to go to ball games. This is what we dreamed would happen we only wish Mom was still here.
The price, location and looks of the place are great.
It's not all about money to these people. They care about the seniors before anything else.
If you are ever looking for a place contact them.
Life is precious and the final years can be the best or worst. I wish I knew what I know now when I was younger. I covet every moment with my Dad and it helps that he happy, well cared for and healthy.

They really cared about my Grandmother
My Grandmother just passed away. But the last few years of her life she lived in this Retirement Community. I'm posting this review because the people that run this place are the most caring and humble people I have ever met.
It's a big place- I think they have over 100 peeple living there. Being that big allows them to do lots of activities. I've been invited to parties, concerts, on trips incliding ocean cruising. My mother and my Grandmother went on one a few months ago to Mexico and some of the staff went too. They had a great time I heard and my Mom and her Mom had a chance to share something so special.
I can't recommend this place enough. We toured many places and while this is not the most fancy place we saw it was also not the most expensive.
My grandmothers sister still lives there. She had been in another place that was more expensive and the staff, food and activities were not as good when compared to Woodland Park West.
