Cannot recommend. My children were there for more than a year
Cannot recommend. My children were there for more than a year before I finally pulled them out. The first thing I noticed was the teacher turnover. As stated by other reviewers, the teachers clearly aren't happy and that's why so many leave. Second, my youngest child was neglected and I found my child with dirty diapers numerous times. I too recommend parents drop by the school to check on their kids frequently. I went to pick up my youngest child early one day, when I heard a teacher yelling at the children. When I opened the door I saw the teachers very stressed out. This classroom was so crowded, yet to my surprise my oldest child'ÃÂs classroom was almost empty. I asked the teacher what happened with the children, and she told me that the parents werenÃÂt happy with the school and they took their children out. In fact, there's been a mass exodus in the past few weeks. Of course all these things happen because the awful and unprofessional Director. I have to laugh at the bogus comments posted here most likely by Woodcrest staff trying to stop the bleeding by attacking the parents sharing their personal experiences. But don't take my word for it, go there and talk to the teachers themselves, not the Director. Ask them how long they've been there and about their qualifications. How long have they been teaching? How many ECE units do they have? What about a Teacher's Certificate? If you want to pay a premium for mediocre teachers (the good one's don't stay long) and crowded classrooms then go for it. Otherwise, I suggest you look elsewhere.
