Cute: A cozy outdoor rink in the snowless Bay Area with hot chocolate and two fireplaces.
Crowded: If you like to go fast, don't go here. There were way too many people. Even though it is crowded and very difficult to get by people, you can have a lot of fun just hanging out.
Cramped: The rink is very small compared to Logitech Ice in San Jose and other public indoor arenas. Hence, the crowded feeling.

The other reviews here capture what I have to say about Winter Lodge, but I didn't see that anyone mentioned that you can take strollers onto the ice. For those of us with several children, one of whom is still a baby or toddler, this is a pretty big deal. I was able to push my daughter around the ice in her stroller while my son skated beside us.

The Winter Lodge is the best place to skate, have parties!!!!!!They have good skating lessons and lots of free skating time. It is also a place where girl scouts can hve fun and earn badges.

It is great to have this outdoor ice rink right in our own backyard. They are open during the colder months for outdoor skating but also offer lessons year round. Also a good place for a winter party.

Winter Lodge is a pretty typical ice skating rink. It is nice because it is an enclosed outdoors skating rink and it feels great to skate with the sun beaming down at you. It is fairly popular so I would recommend going at off peak hours if you aren't terribly confident in your skills.

In the lodge there is always hot chocolate available and a blazing fire going to warm up your extremeties.
