Good medical service, expensive
We recently went to GVH as a new patient with my son's cat for a simple neuter and vaccine. When we went for the pre-surgery visit we filled out the new patient paperwork, waited for some time in the front lobby and then were told to just bring him in on the surgery day. Surgery day came and our new patient paperwork had been lost so we had to fill it out again, this wasn't a big deal in and of itself, however, when we picked him up we were charged a little less than double what I had expected/been quoted. The new fee included various office visit fees. I don't object to the fee(s) I was charged per say, I object to being quoted one price over the phone and recieving a very different price after the procedure had already been performed and I had no other recourse. A simple neuter and a rabbies vaccine cost me $180.00, of which I expected to be charged about $105 given phone conversations.
