Andy B seems to use different names to write the same review, your problem is with CA law, not all your lawyers including Mr. Williams who seem to all get you the same result. I used Dan for a divorce and then a move away to Hawaii. We had to go to trial over it. Judges have heard the same arguments and excuses 100s of times. The key is to have someone who wants to win and is willing to stay late and work with you to get the work done. Most cases are not black and white, but swing on having an attorney who is dedicated and prepared. Dan was all of that and because jurisdiction for my case is still in San Diego, I will use him again and again if I have to, even if it means paying every red cent I have! My son is everything to me and while his dad and he love each other, our opportunity in Hawaii couldnt be passed up and Dan made it happen despite his father being still in San Diego.

Wow, look at his feedback and think to yourself whether he or his secretary/girlfriend could have left this false positive feedback for him to cover up other negative feedback left for him. Perfect example of how truly dishonest and low down this man is. Choosing him for my divorce lawyer was the second worst mistake I have made in my life, the first was getting married to my ex. My divorce was painfully long and drawn out that there are too many negative things on here to list. I should have fired him so long ago, but kept him because I had faith that he would do the right thing and help me in the end. Instead, it turned out to be a nightmare, and no matter how many other lawyers I get now, will not change his screw-ups.

Dan beat back an agressive push by a large family law firm here in San Diego trying to make a case that my ten year relationship with my ex-gf constituted her as a "putative spouse" and therefore entitled to spousal support and half my life savings and business assets.

Daniel Williams handled by divorce case which this being a community property state mainly involved the custody of my kids and sorting debts and assets that we had acquired together and also from my separate property. Phone calls were retunred within reason and when things were stalled I still got update letters. He took the stress away my compartmentalizing the issues.....I definately would say he was great.

I handled my case myself and it was not hard as my kids father did not really fight me. But I knew he was always hiding money and lying about how much he made and I never could think I was getting what I deserved. Mr. Williams used his office to go through all of my ex's financial records and assets and got me a huge increase in child support and was able to get full collection on back owed child support.
