Unfortunately agree with previous review
I?m a fan of Whole Foods and I?ve been shopping WF for long time ? including the original DT Austin store. And I think their quality is holding steady. But unfortunately, I have to agree with the other reviewer.

There are some really nice, polite people that work there. But it seems like a majority of the customer facing employees there now feel like it?s beneath them to say ?Yes Mam? and ?Thank you Mam?. It?s just simple courtesy - I do that with my clients. It seems like a grocery store clerk could use good manners and show some respect to customers that pay premium prices.

Rude, mean checkers.
Absolutely the rudest checkers I've ever come across. In the past month, I have been: scolded by a checker for having a few too many items in the express lane (it was an honest mistake; there was no one in line behind me & I had already apologized to the checker); I have bought $120 worth of groceries from a checker who didn't say hello or thank you because she was too busy planning her evening with her friends; & today, as the final straw, the guy checking out my groceries said to the sacker "God, why do people always choose my checkstand? Can't they see that there other checkers who aren't busy?"

These Whole Foods/Kirby checkers are rude bordering on mean. Sometimes, it feels like I'm getting my groceries checked out at some brutal junior high. I think it's time for me to start shopping elsewhere.

This place has alot of variety of natural and wholesome food for your family. They give free samples of foods if you wish to try it. Really a good place to go.

great selection, bad prices by Kent N. at InsiderPages
Whole foods is most probably the nicest and coolest supermarket in Houston, but you will definitely have ot pay for it. Some of the items are harder to get and worth the mark-up, but the produce is way overpriced, and most of the ready made food items can be purchased anywhere else for much, much less. However, they have a Jamba juice, great soups, and an amazing cheese and coffee selection which make the trip well worth it.
