My wife took our 11 year old son to Dr. Wheeler with a tooth that needed filling or extracted. Keeping the tooth was not a priority due to the fact that it was not a permanent tooth. After the office visit we were charged $310.00 and informed that to pull the tooth would be an additional $350.00 which would have to be completed on another office visit. When my wife questioned the $310.00 charge she had just paid she was informed the charges was for an office visit, x-rays, and a fluoride treatment (none of which we had ask for) and refused to refund any of our money .

Needless to say we did not go back and had the tooth extracted by another Pediatric Dentist in the area for $135.00 which included x-rays. If you feel that you need to pay twice as much for your child's dental care as other Pediatric Dentist in the area charge, then I would suggest you take your child to Dr. Wheeler. Personally I found her used car dealership sales tactics to be unprofessional and unethical and would never take my child back to her nor would I recommend her.

My mother takes my 3 y.o. to this dentist, and I always hear very positive things. The staff she has working the desk is nice and helpful, and my little bro loves it there. My dentist is across the Hall, and whenever he's with me when I go, he always likes to stop in and say hi to Dr. Wheelers office.
