I like Westside Rentals for many reasons, but i'm not going to sit here telling how good it is, you can check it out on your own... i'm going to tell you that they have redesigned their website recently and it looks phenomenal. On top of that i'd like to mention that Craigslist has too many scams to know what is legitimate and what isn't... check out the yahoo news story on this by searching for "family loses savings craigslist" Anyway, have a good day!

I?ll be honest. I was skeptical. Nowhere but LA would they expect you to pay up front for access to rental listings. Seriously, don?t landlords want our business? After a couple laborious days of driving around town or surfing craigslist and my tune changed. I figured that I?d give it a try since I?d already spent at least $60 on gas. I?ll give to them?WestsideRentals seems to be in with the landlords. I found a spot right off that was cheaper than anything I?d seen. Been there ever since?.so I say give em a try.

I actually heard of Westside Rentals before I even got to LA. Seems like a weird idea, but I used it because everyone said it was worth it. They were right.

Does anyone else feel like this company is taking over? I drove by their santa monica office last week and saw that they now do commercial leasing and even have a full real estate brokerage. Last year my friend got a job through their other site, jobs.westsiderentals. com .I?m keeping an eye on these guys?

My buddy in San Diego says he?s started to see Westside Rentals signs in downtown SD and even saw an office over in PB. I remember when Westside Rentals didn?t even have a website and handed out Xerox copies everyday at 4pm!
