Saved the Day
I made an album using iPhoto. It was a gift for a surprise party, but they screwed up the shipping and the album was not going to arrive in time for the party. I took my laptop to Westside and they helped me figure out how to get the album off of my Mac, adjusted all of the pages for me, and printed me an album in an hour. They totally saved the day and were extremely helpful. They didn't even charge me the normal fee for extracting photos because they felt so bad about my FedEd issue. The price was exactly what I paid for the iPhoto album and I got it in an hour, not two weeks. They were amazing!

bad, slow and rude.
after 3 tries in ordering my holiday cards/photos (turned out blurry and off-centered) i am not sure why i continued to be a customer at this place. btw, i finally gave up and sent out blurry and off-centered holiday cards. the prices are unbelievable...in a bad way. then they wrecked a roll of film and still make me pay 12 dollars for it. 12 dollars for something that had to be thrown away. lastly, i brought in one roll of film and after 12 days, it still isn't ready. not one person has said sorry for the delay or anything. they keep saying it will be ready "this afternoon" and i have literally gone in 5 or 6 times only to be greeted by annoyed looks that im back. well, if my pictures would have come when you said they would, i would not be coming in every day. i'm completely blown away that this place has any customers at all. i'm even more blown away that they hire such rude people.

i would be willing to forget such bad business if the employees were at all apologetic, but quite the opposite, my friends.

They lost my business DVD.
I took a DVD to Westside Ritz Camera to be copied. I paid in advance and days later returned and picked up an envelope containing 2 DVD cases. I opened the envelope at home and prepared to return the original DVD to a person I do business with only to find the case empty. I had only received the copy. I rushed back to the store and was told without apology, that they lost the original. I was surprised by lack of professionalism, responsibility and concern. I explained that it was a business DVD and not mine to which they basically shrugged. I will never go back. I think that it is high on the list of worst retail experiences I have had or heard of.

Very disapointed: apalling service & poor print quality!
I've been using Ritz Camera reprinting and enlarging services for years. I'll never go back to this Broadway store after the experience I had this week.
Not only was the guy behind the counter totally rude, out of the six photographs that I had reprinted/ enlarged: they reprinted 1 wrong negative, 1 photo was missing altogether, 1 was the wrong size and the other was in AWFUL quality (grainy and dark- and it wasn't even one of the photos being blown up!).
They also tried to charge me for 1-Hour processing even though I said I didn't need them any time soon when I dropped them off the day before.
AND I waited for 20 minutes (no joke!) for them to find my photos (which were on the floor, leaning against the wall.)
There are a few other printing shops along Broadway that I plan on trying out next time. By the looks of the people in line behind me yesterday, I'm sure I'm not the only customer they lost!
