I just want to give kudos to Dr. Perkins and all the staff at Westside Animal Hospital. Dr. Perkins saved our cat Raskal after a traumatic injury last summer. Without him, our beloved tuxedo cat would not be with us today. Even if Raskal hadnt made it, Westside Animal Hospital was amazing through the whole ordeal and I am forever grateful to them. Also, Dr. Perkins has done an excellent job caring for our two pugs whenever we need him.My female pug has allergies and recently had an attack. Westside Animal Hospital helped us to continue care beyond the Animal Emergency Clinic, so we can care for our pug-girl at home the next time this happens. Dr. Perkins truly cares about the animals under his care and is an asset to the veterinary profession. I give this practice 100 gold stars. Highly recommended!‎

Hi Dr. Perkins! Thank you so much for the humane care and attention you and your staff extened to Sable last Thursday. I was so impressed with your getting down on the floor with Sable to take his temp, his heart and check out his stomach, this froma teacher who believes that good teaching begins with working with the students at their levels. And special thanks for setting up an appointment so quickly at the Referral Center in Scarborough. You're right. They were wonderful! A CAT scan revealed blood around one node of the liver and around the spleen, and Sable was operated on that afternoon. We picked him up on Saturday. Not until Sunday night did he begin to have an appetite, and now he seems fine. The surgeon called me today to explain the biopsy - nothing on the spleen, but the liver bloody spot was definitely a cancerous sarcoma. She was very clear to explain that this may allow Sable six more months. We are going to visit her for a check-up on Friday the 28th. Is Sable's ...
