I highly recommend the services of D. Rizzo and the West Portal Podiatry Practice. The practice is located immediately adjacent to the West Portal Muni stop and is easily accessible. We were referred to this practice by UCSF Medical Center and the experience was exemplary from start to finish. We were able to secure a next day appointment and there was no waiting when we arrived at the office. After filing out basic medical information, my son was seen by Dr. Rizzo, who immediately put him at ease. Dr. Rizzo discussed his foot infection and explained the options for a procedure which could alleviate pain in the future. The procedure was performed during the visit and my son was provided with additional medication for his infection. The care was warm, courteous, and thorough and could not have been improved upon. My son, who is a veteran of multiple doctors stated" I wish all doctors were like you" in speaking with Dr. Rizzo..... extremely positive praise!

I was extremely impressed by a recent visit to the West Portal Podiatry Clinic. The service was exemplary and Dr. Rizzo was extremely warm, personable, and knowledgeable. He took time to thouroughly explain the procedure and steps to combat an infection to my son. My son was extremely impressed by the care he receivedand stated that he wished all doctors were like Dr. Rizzo...extremely high praise!

Additionally the office was clean and orderly and there was no wait for the appointment. Staff were warm and caring towards the patients- I would recommend this practice to any one searching for a quality podiatrist!

I visited Dr Rizzo's office on west portal and was not impressed at all. The office was very old, run down, and messy. And Dr Rizzo had some really primitive ideas about what to do for my foot problems. All I saw him doing was taking care of old people's nails. It was a wierd visit. I would not recommend this doctor beacsue he does not seem so up to date.
