Excellent Care for Your Pet Bird or Exotic
Anyone who have every had a sick pet knows the importance of a great vet, I can speak from personal experience. Dr. Greg Rich is by far the best avian vet in the area. Dr. Rich has over 20+ years of experience with only avian (birds) and exotic animals. Just like people would seek a specialist, Dr. Rich is exactly that for your pet bird. I would not trust my little guy to anyone but Dr. Rich!

His clinic was severely damaged from the Hurricane Katrina flooding but is now totally rebuilt and better than ever. West Esplanade also offers boarding (or "bird camp" as we call it!) if you are going out of town and your feather friend's need a qualified caretaker.

If you have a pet bird (or exotic) or are considering becoming the caretaker of one, you need to get to know Dr. Rich.

horrible vet
The veterinarian is the worst. He is ugly to his customers if they do not want multiple expensive tests done on their animals over and over, before he will prescribe a simple antibiotic. Problem is, that he used to prescribe an antibiotic without insisting on multiple expensive and unnecessary testing.

A Little Different Vet! by Janice G. at InsiderPages
This Veterinary Clinic is a little different because they cater to exotics such as Birds and small animals. The vets are always willing to help your animal in any way they can. The staff is friendly and considerate. Bird owners will especially love this vet group because he has a beautiful green parrot right there in the reception area, who will greet you and make you very welcomed.
