I used West Coast Roofing to re-roof my house and garage. I received several bids and their price was about in the middle.
They were the only company that took the time to explain to me some of the challenging issues that were on my roof such as flat valley cricket areas and a section with a lower-than-normal roof pitch.
They explained how they were going to have to make special provisions on those areas to make sure that there weren't problems later.
None of the other companies even mentioned those issues and in hind-sight, I am sure that they would have done them wrong. All of the workers were so polite and they seemed to really take pride in their workmanship.
What I really like was that they kept me informed throughout the process and asked for my input on areas where I had a choice of how the finished product was going to look.
My roof is very visible from the street, so this meant a lot to me. I had been dreading doing this work, but they made it so simple for me.
I would recommend them to anyone who wants a first class job at a reasonable price. They may not have been the cheapest bid, but I felt that they were the best value considering the quality of work that I received.

I have been using West Coast Roofing in Pasadena for over 25 years now on my numerous properties. No other company has ever come close to the service and value that I get from them. The owner is honest and does not sell me roofs that I don't need when the roofs can be repaired to last longer. Their superior knowledge is impressive when they are able to fix leaks that no-one else can. I even recognize some of the employees as having worked there for as much as 20 years. These guys are the best, hands down.

I am so happy that I decided to wait for West Coast Roofing to be able to do my roof. It would have been a disaster to go with a cheaper bid like my neighbor did. He was not willing to wait and wanted to save some money, so he went with another company. He had nothing but problems from the beginning, and ended up getting cheated. The workers were true craftsmen that took pride in ??????American?????? made work. They were very attentive to every detail that I requested of them, and the end result was not just a roof, but a piece of art that enhanced the appearance of my home. They even did work that was not in the terms of the contract and did not charge me for it. The owner, Mike Sanders is a man of his word, and abides by an admirable work ethic. It is no surprise that his reputation precedes him. His workers reflect that same demeanor. I plan of re-using them to re-roof my vacation home, and I highly recommend that anyone else use them. They may cost a little more, but it is well worth it considering the higher class of workers they employ, the superior workmanship standards that they follow, and the overall better roof that they will install. All things considered, they are actually a better deal than the low bidders that tend to cut corners to save money.
