This Clinic advertises in the free magazines in San Diego to come in for a FREE DROOPY EYELID CONSULTATION... So I made an appointment and went in! They explained the consultation would be FREE and I would not be charged unless they actually did some surgery. Then they insisted to have my ID, Medicare Card, and Supplement Medicare card..... When I asked why they needed this info since there would be no charge they explained it was just POLICY so if surgery was needed they would have all of the information and save time on the next visit! They then took me into the exam room and wanted to do an eye exam! I explained that I just had my ANNUAL EXAM DONE SIX WEEKS AGO! They said the Doctor would not agree to see me until they have their own exam. I asked if this was included in the FREE CONSULTATION. The answer was an emphatic "YES"... So, I let them do the exam and then the Doctor looked at my droopy eyelids and suggested surgery... I could just call and set up the time I wanted ...

This docter's office combines friendly service and excellent professional care. The certifed eye docters know what their doing and do it in a friendly way. They provide many service including eye check-ups and glasses. They have a wide variety of glasses from name brand companies like Ralph Lauren. They also offer glasses for the budget conscious, but these glasses aren't the best looking and somewhat behind the trend. An appointment is needed to see the docter and the wait is sometimes very long reaching a maximum of maybe 45 minutes.

I had a good experience here. Sometimes the wait was long....but other times OK. This is located on El Cajon Blvd near La Mesa, off the 70th street exit from the 8. I was fitted for contacts, and they didn't work for me, and they let me exchange them for glasses with no hassles. The doctor also didn't charge me for the contact lens fitting fee, because of this. Good place to go.

I had LASIK surgery done by Dr. Di Zinno, who's an M.D. here. My results were fantastic and the procedure went off without a hitch. He's very personable and makes you feel very comfortable. Plus, his follow-up care is great.

Of course this office also handles regular optometry care - contacts, glasses, etc.
