I made the order in person with Brandon. He was courteous and matched his competitors prices. He told me he would send someone out to measure the blinds.
ERIC WAS LATE, LATE, LATE! I called the company and told me he was on the way. I had to call three times before ERIC got here. I was scheduled for installation on Saturday 1/21 at 3pm. I called around 12 noon to confirm the 3pm appointment and Brandon said he could have the guy here at 2pm. I said fine.
ERIC arrived at 1:45pm and my family answered the door. I got to the house at 1:55pm. ERIC was on the porch unpackaging the blinds. I said hello and he said NOTHING! Eric and Juan were putting up the blinds and toward the end of the installation I opened, closed and tested each blind. Through out the installation Eric kept RUSHING but Juan just keep working hard and installed the blinds correctly.
THIS IS WHERE IT GETS GOOD---- I told ERIC that one of the blinds will not stay open. He came over and YANKED the cord and said "see it works" I told him to have it replaced. I called Brandon and he said dont worry about it, he will come out on Monday and replace the hardware. I pointed out to Juan that some of the valances on the blinds were not cut to the correct size and he was writting down the information to have it corrected. ERIC WALKS BACK IN AND TELLS JUAN THEY NEED TO LEAVE. I TOLD ERIC THAT JUAN IS WRITTING DOWN THE ITEMS THAT NEED CORRECTING. ERIC PROCEEDS TO TELL ME THEY NEED TO LEAVE. I TOLD HIM HE NEEDS TO CORRECT THIS ISSUE BEFORE MOVING ON,
ERIC RANTED FOR 2 MINUTES ABOUT HOW HE HATES HIS JOB, HE DIDNT WANT TO BE HERE TO DO THE WORK. HE WAS ACTUALLY PACING AND RANTING.

I ordered, and paid for a queen size sleigh bed at a damn good price. But the money I lost waiting for the bed to be delivered negated the savings. If the salesman had explained to me that waiting a week for the bed to be delivered less than a mile from they're premises are was part of the savings, I would've paid full price!! They do not keep you updated on the status of anything! I constantly have to call them after spending my bread!! As I'm typing this, I've yet to receive the remainder of my bed. It's been a week now. They were supposed to drop the bed off Saturday before 12:00. Not only did I not receive a call, they only delivered the matress, and box spring at 4:30 that afternoon. No call to say anything. I spoke with Brandon yesterday, who assured me the remainder of the bed would be delivered last night. Again, no call, no delivery. I noticed the delivery truck was being washed yesterday.... My first thought was "Fuck washing the truck, you should be using that time delivering the rest of my bed!!" These Cats are full of excuses that do not concern myself, nor my money. Very poor business skillz, and lack of communication will be the downfall of another black owned business. My people are always wondering "Why you taking your business to the white, mexican, indian, etc man"? This business is the exact reason why. If they would only realize, sometimes calling a customer, and saying "Something" would go alot farther, than not calling.
Bottom line... Prices are excellent, if you do not mind waiting a prolonged period of time for your merchandise. Order what you need at least 30 days in advance!!.

I pass West Coast Custom Blinds 2 times a day 5 days a week for the last 12 years going to work, I purchased a new condo in Redondo Beach, needed blinds and desided to stop in I was amazed in the selection and service offered by the young man Brandon, he sent out his guy Sergio to Measure, Sergio called Brandon back and told him I was in a home complex to get me special pricing, they came in $400 less than the other 3 bids I had gotten, I was so pleased I sent a letter to all my new neighbors sharing with them of the great deal and service I had got, last time checking they had did 8 homes in my complex.

Iv'e used west coast blinds once a few months ago for a minor job in my son's bedroom. The employee's were very friendly and personable and i was able to get a great deal on my blinds. I thought to myself this is a company i could use in the future. Recently my husband and i decided to remodel our home, and we chose to go with wood blinds. We visted west coast and they were able to set us up with beautiful wood blinds and also a great deal. I would highly recommened them!

I was there at West Coast Blinds this past weekend and had a chance to work with the manager. He was able to show different ways for me to save money which is a big deal right now to me and I believe for alot of other people to. They have a clearance side with alot of blinds already made which they can cut down to your size depending on how you measure. Also the make blinds custom made to your window size. That was the way I had to Go But this month of September I was able to save an extra 20% off. Thank You West Coast Custom Blinds my blinds look great.
