I just moved to Brooklyn after living in the Upper East Side for the past five years. So as my last action as an Upper East Sider, I thought I would give it up to my favorite place in the neighborhood! We Deliver Videos has saved my life numerous times... movie wise at least. I used to love stopping in to to pick up movies and having an actual conversation about film or anything else for that matter with the employees. Everyone there is very knowledgeable and just generally awesome! They didn't only know me by name, but they knew my girlfriend as well... Which brings me back to my original life saving statement. I am a very forgetful person by nature, so if (when) I forgot to pick up my girlfriend's movie choices, all I had to do was call in and they would send them to my apartment! Free delivery... Love it. There's nothing like it in my new neighborhood... Do you guys deliver to BK?? If you live up there, you should check it out and see for yourself!

This is my favorite store in NYC!!!!! The owners and staff are so funny and give the best recommendations. I?ve definitely put them to the test ?..I watch everything and sometimes I make them spend 20 minutes on me!! I know I?m selfish but that?s what I love in this place. They go above and beyond and then beyond again. I do use the free pick ups they offer but I personally like to go in (where they greet me by name by the way) to get my movies. I?m in this store at least 3 times a week even to just pop in to have a happy face say hello to me. When I first started renting there about 4 years ago I?d never been one to strike up a ransom conversation with a store I?d be in. But one day the girl behind the counter struck up a conversation with me about a show we both loved and then after that I started talking to the other owners and staff and they are all so nice, funny and have different taste then each other in movies. I know when I?m in the action mood to ask the Sunday guys, when I want an Indie film ask the blonde who works during the days and for the recs for most popular and best new releases I ask the owners on the weekend. I know I?m not alone in loving this store- I can?t tell you how many times I have been in this store where people are complimenting them on what great service they give. GREAT DVD SELECTION. THEY HAVE EVERYTHING!!! . I mean they give you FREE DELIVERY!!!!! HELLO?.delivery of a movie!! I just love NYC!! Will use them forever

Staff here is awful, I've been going for nearly two years since it?s the closest place to my apartment but it?s not worth saving time. This is the second time they have charged my credit card for a movie that has already been returned. The movie was placed in their return box a few days after it was rented and they have no record of it. The staff was rude to me on the phone. They told me 3 different returns dates - all when I was out of town - and then changed to say the movie was never returned. DVDs are normally scratched anyway so I canceled membership. There are better quality places in the neighborhood. Also, the ice cream has freezer burn.
