I am HAIRY. I have been to so many salons for waxing and my very last resort was a reccomendation to go to a Wax Spa. Other salons had ripped the heck out of me and I left many time bruised, skin pulled off and bleeding. My girlfriend swore that Wax Spa would wax me and not hurt me. I said NO. My friend bought me a Gift Certificate. My friend took me there. I hadn't been waxed in months and I had no faith, only fear during my ride to a Wax Spa. After a wait, I was on the table. Ina came in and made me feel so comfortable that I actually began to relax. She was fast, patient with me and it was all over so fast that I walked out of that room a new woman. Ina at Wax Spa rocks and I have never been so clean of hair from any other salon. Don't be afraid to wax. They are clean, crazy busy and the best place to go. "Specially first timers". I heard the other girls are good too, but with all my bad experiences I prefer Ina. You will probably have to wait for her but it is worth it. I have been a dedicated devotee since then. <br />

Oh My God! It was the best experience you could ask for under the circumstances. It was my first waxing experience there alone my first Brazilian and Ina at Wax Spa made the experience fantastic. She was super patient seeing that it was my first time and even took time to comfort me in between waxing. Highly recommend Wax Spa for their service and ambiance. Really private rooms and a super friendly staff. Loved it, loved it, loved it!!! If this is your first time or your 100th go to Wax Spa for all your waxing needs. The pricing was incredible for the high end service.

What a sorry experience I had at Wax "Spa". First, it is definitely not a spa, or even close. It's a place with noisy cubicles, sparsly furnished with not one spa amenity. Next, the waxing. Sorry, but despite the guy in the front trying to convince me how lucky I was to find them, the waxing left me with red bumps. I'm still sore and this has never happened in anyplace that I've gotten waxed.Ina was very nice, but relatively inexperienced. I would guess that she's been doing this less than 4-5 years. There are so many other palces, I'm really sorry that I went here just because it's convenient. Next time I'll take the extra drive a get some really great waxing as I've been so used to.

I usually get my monthly grooming done at a place in Aventura. Terrible parking (small lot with Walgreens and a Kosher supermarket makes it impossible to go in and out fast) and a need to get a babysitter every time I go had me thinking about trying a place closer to home. After searching and reading all the reviews on Citysearch I stopped on Wax Spa.

I called and was able to get an appointment with Ina the next day because they were and are SO busy.

The place is small but cozy and very cute. I was a bit nervous as I am trying a new person to groom my privates. Ina was so friendly and I must say that the wax that they use is great. Product is not everything but it does help and her technique is unbelievable and flawless.

It was, as another reviewer states, virtually painless as waxing goes.

I do cheat and I apply a numbing cream prior to my appointment, but honestly I don't think I need it or will use it in the near future.

I am used to a longer wax appointment and I wondered what the after "look" would be with just 15 minutes of waxing.

I'm a believer now that I don't need 45 minutes and I no longer need to make a trip across town.

I wax every 3 weeks and do facials quite regularly and this one has the best technique ever... very modern clean spa/waxing center with outstanding waxers and facial therapists. Try it out !
