I went to the wave house for the first time yesterday and it was very cool. The wave house has two man made waves (one is overhead and heavy) along with three bars and some food service areas. It's all located right next to the water in Mission Beach. The entire floor of the place is just sand from the beach with a few wooden decks. <br />

You can watch the people attempting to surf and bodyboard on the wave which can be hilarious. People are wiping out and getting sucked over the falls constantly. <br />

They charge $40 an hour to ride the big wave. Even on Saturday there was only 7-10 people riding at a time so you can catch plenty of waves in an hour. <br />

As night rolled in they turned on the lights so now the wave is like a lit up stage. They also have a huge movie screen that was showing surf videos. Rye Crake, Dane Reynold and Strider were all hanging out that night. <br />

All in all a very fun experience, highly recommended.

I have been using a free week pass and it ends tomorrow.I am signing up for a membership.I am completely sold.First of all it is a great location.Right on Mission beach,next to many restaurants,v=bars and stores.How perfect go workout then go tanning on the beach or get some luch with friends.They have a huge pool,Good size cardio and weights room with fans on every corner and flat screen tvs on all the walls.I have been going between 7 and 9 and there never too many people on the machines.perfect time to come.Also it is great you get discounts at their restaurants when you have a membership.This place is pretty sweet.EVERYONE SHOULD CHECK IT OUT!
