Before banking with any banks please, research their rules, and stipulations. WAMU is known for their easy and convenient banking operations. Unfortunately that is all the positive comments that can be made for this bank. Due to lower moral values they now allow their employees to bring their lifestyles to their work, I had an experience of being helped with my banking by man who had both ears and lip pierced and finger nails painted black. I realize what people do off work is a matter of personal choice however this action is very unprofessional. Their guidelines for banking arenât any better. If you make a walk-in deposit to a teller on a Saturday, that will still count as a Monday deposit. If you incur an overdraft fee, you will pay over 30dlls for each item, regardless of the amount of the item. I was told by a teller at a different bank that WAMU fees and charges are inflated above many of the larger corporate banks. Yes I am taking my business else where.
