I've been to a few vets during my pet owning years and both Dr. Scherer and Dr. Johnson are the most caring vets I've ever been to. They take the time to explain their opinions and what is wrong and don't make me feel like they're in a hurry. My animals like them too i think, as much as an animal can like a vet!

I highly recommend this vet hospital. I have been taking my pets to them since the 1970's. I would never go anywhere else. This staff is very caring, compassionate, knowledgeable and very converned about your pets and you as a person. I am extremely fond of Dr. Scherer. He is the only vet I have my pets see. I trust him completely with my pets. He's been there with me when I've had to put my children to rest. He is very compassionate and concerned and will advise you as to the best treatment you can give your animal. He always explains everything to you in full detail so you are very aware of the outcome or circumstances to any treatment that is given. I love him to death. He and his staff are the BEST.
If you want excellent care of your pet, I recommend them very highly.

My mom started taking our dogs to this vet more than 35 years ago. Now I have pets of my own, and this is where I take them. I love this vet. The doctors and the staff are so nice and genuinely care about your pets, and you. They are top notch. The doctors really explain everything in detail, and go over all options and possible outcomes for everything. It is so wonderful to have the doctors actually care about your options with your pet. The only thing is that this office is extremely old... at least 35 years... and is need of some upgrades. But, it is very clean. It is always super clean when I go in, smells of bleach. So they must clean it from floor to ceiling every day. And their front office girl is just wonderful. LOVE HER!! Always so helpful, and friendly and sweet to my kids and my dogs.

If I listened to them, my cat would be dead now. They were unwilling to diagnose her properly, citing it was too hard to get their diagnostic equipment in the office. Shop elsewhere if you love your pet.

My family and I have been using Warner Ave. Animal Hospital for decades. The office staff is wonderful and so are the doctors. They have been with us through multiple sets of pets and are always very caring and attentive when the times are rough. Even though I have moved farther south, I always take the time to drive to Fountain Valley because I know I will be treated well.
