Von's off Lomas Santa Fe in Solana Beach on the border of Del Mar is a visual delight - especially if you enter at the flower section. The flowers are the best value for money around- with gorgeous dozen roses for under $10. The roses are fresh and magnificently colored. Their produce section has organic choices now - which is convenient. They also have specialty items such as vegetarian selections (Amy's meals, tofu etc.) and their raisin cinnamon bagels are great. The best thing about going to Von's is that i can visit Well's Fargo and get cash for my purchases or for later, or just do some general banking. And Ross is just a step away for any urgent needs before going home hahaha. I have been told by two ladies in line on separate occasions (both from NAPA Valley) that the wine selection is GREAT, better than anywhere closeby. They should know being from Napa - and they looked pretty wealthy too. The overall view of Von's is just so tidy, clean, beautiful displays... and a great selection of greeting cards too.
