I went in for a fuel pump recall and when they fixed it they said my fuel sender wasn't working anymore, but not related. I questioned the logic on that one. If i bring my car in and it works fine and then after the repairs it has a problem, wouldn't that be related??? Well, i was forced to pay for the part, but when i called the Service Manager Mike, he was very nice and reviewed my complaint, interviewed the service writer and called me back with good news. He was going to reimburse the money I paid. I realize we all sometimes encounter problems with different retailers, vendors, etc, but i judge a business on how they handle complaints. Since purchasing our Volvo S60 in 2003, we have never had any problems with the Service Department; our experience has always been pleasant. The Service staff is totally professional and treat the customer with utmost respect. Our most recent experience was no exception. A "check engine" warning on the control panel took us to Volve of OC to have it looked into. Brian Duncanson kept me up to date telephonically on the progress being made by the mechanic. Although the ultimate bill was more than we had anticipated, it represented considerably more work than at first envisioned. The mechanic discovered several unrelated problems that required attention to keep the car safe to operate. We appreciated that thorough approach to the service. Thanks.‎
