I took my car in for repair of the air bag light....they had the car all day, I picked it up drove home and the light came on again. I called and left 2 messages over two days, nice ones, nobody called me.
I called again and talked to the operator who told me to come down right away - I drove down and was turned away they were too busy to look at my car, which they did not fix to begin with, no appologies. So, yeah, I got mad, took the issue to VW America, no help there. All I wanted was for it to be looked at and fixed ASAP, like a priority appointment and not have to leave my car all day(s) without transportaiton. I have since written both the sales and service managers and have heard nothing back.
VW does not seem to care that I might be driving around with a faulty airbag. For now I am going to most likely take it to another dealer for service, and this will influence if I buy a VW again as this is the closest dealer to me. VW does not care about customer service, although they (VW America) assured me I was very important!!!! I made another appointment that I had to cancel because I was told they were so busy they would have my car over 2 days - without an offer of a loaner car, but I could rent my own.
I am not a problem customer, I was initially very calm and polite but basically just got really crappy treatment since.
