Used bookstores fill a niche and have passed the test of time. Violet Sunshine flies through time and space- a vortex of coolness and conservation- hard to find in this part of America. As a native New Yorker, who drives cross-country, I frequent this bookstore as a tourist stop. I would expect to find it nestled in an urban paper or bohemian district and not in a small town. I think this store is haunted....for reasons you'll have to figure on your own time.

The books are reasonably priced and she has them well organized. She's very helpful and will take requests. You can also trade in books which helps pay for the ones you want to read. Her beads are nice, too!

Nice little book shop with a wide variety of books. They are nicely organized and easy to find. They are cheap priced and this book shop also does trades. They also sell a wide variety of beads. They are very knowledgable about the books they have in stock at the time.
