My dogs love Dr....‎
We have been taking our animals to Vine Vet for 8 years. Dr. Redman sees them for their annual physicals, when they're not well and when they are boarded. Dr. Redman has always been gentle and kind with our pets. He is also very considerate to the pet owner regarding how expensive things are. He will explain to us all of our options, what he would do if it were his pet, and how to get the best for our pets at the best price. He won't do more than he knows is necessary because he doesn't believe in astronomical bills for the owner. We have been to other veterinarians before Dr Redman who spent small amounts of time with us but spent large amounts of our money. We wouldn't go to any other vet around here. Dr. Redman loves our animals and we do too.‎

Great vet‎
I have been taking my puppy to Dr. Redman for the past year and have been very impressed. My puppy loves him and isn't afraid of going to visit the vet at all. Dr. Redman has always been willing to answer all of my (many) questions. I also took my pup to Vine Vet to get spayed, and they did a fabulous job! She didn't even know she had an incision and healed very quickly. I highly recommend Vine Vet Hospital and Dr. Redman!‎

Highly recommend this vet!‎
I have been nothing but satisfied with Dr. Redman. He and his staff are great. While he is a quirky guy, he's very knowledgeable and practical about pet care. I have been disappointed to find many vets in the Chapel Hill/Carrboro area are primarily business focused enterprises whose focus is to sell products and services. This is absolutely not the case for Dr. Redman: pet/owner well-being come first. I have and will continue to recommend Vine Vet.‎

We love you, Ken Redman‎
My human family and my canine family love Ken and his whole staff. We have been going there since 1982, and everything positive said about him in the other reviews, we say ditto. He has treated the ailments of ten dogs and one cat for our family, and has laughed with our joys and cried with us in our grief. Not only is he our doctor, but he is also our friend. As for being 'kind of quirky,' - of course - just like the rest of us in Chapel Hill.‎

I love Vine Vet‎
My family has been going to Vine Vet for 40 years! I love Dr. Redman and his staff. Ken Redman is kind of quirky and may seem a bit "rough" to some. He has a no-nonsense, old school, practical sense of pet care that some people may not like or may misunderstand. I find it refreshing. He is always concerned for the well-being of my pet and of the effects of any treatments. I know that my pet is going to get the best care without me being charged some over-the-top price and with out my pet going through unnecessary, stressful procedures. When my cat of 17 years was on her last day, I took her to Ken. He let me talk through what to do and hang out for hours with her before I could decide to put her to sleep. I was with her when Ken euthanized her and he talked me through each step. He was so kind. The whole process was very comforting. My sister went to another vet for a bit. Now she is back with Ken....‎
