Village video sucks the people that are reviewing village video are the employees not customers. The only exception is the guy that said they were disloyal. Village video will try scare tactics to get you to pay outrageous late fees instead of just paying for the movie

village video is my favorite place to rent movies from. the selection is great, the owners and employees are friendly andthe movies are cheap to boot. it cost an arm and a leg at blockbuster, just for one movie. V.V. even has great deals on movies if you want to buy. what i love is their 555 deal: 5 movies for 5 nights for 5 $. you just cant beat that anywhere. i've never been to another movie rental store that even compares to it.

I have also been a long time customer of Village Video. Over the years they have had new owners, new management, and many new policies. There is no other video rental store around that doesn't require a credit card these days and Village Video held out as long as they could because of customers who didn't have good credit or credit cards to put on file.

What I love about this small town business is the excellant customer service. The management and employees go out of their way for their customers. Everyone is friendly and courteous and I have never had bad experience. I recommend them to all my friends and family. Village Video is the best deal in Hillsborugh, NC.

Do not, under any circumstances rent from them. I have been a customer for over ten years, and recently was told that they were updating their system and would no longer be able to rent to me because I did not have a credit card on file. So I either have to put a credit card on file or $50. $50! If I had $50 I would buy the movie. The reason I rented from Village Video in the first place was because they did not require a credit card to be placed on file. Now half-way through the game they change the rules. I will from this day on out tell everyone I know about my loyalty to village video and their disloyalty to me.
