VILLAGE California Bistro and Wine Bar was winner of a 2006 Sante restaurant award for wine hospitality. The wine list contains over 300 wines- mostly from boutique wineries producing quality small lot wines not easily found. They serve seasonal California cuisine featuring local meats, seafood, and organic produce. The garlic soup is wonderful with the flatbread. The filet mignon is thick, tender, and juicy. Other items on the menu are pork chops, duck, chicken, and seafood. They have several good desserts, the best is the carrot cake! The restaurant is Bistro style with woods and tall windows. They have a covered patio outdoor area overlooking Santana Park.
