My personal experience was wonderful! I think the staff there works like a family, and they are always nice and patient! When ever I get the chance to go there I am always greeted in a plesent way, and i get great sweets that taste amaizing!! For those of you who choose to leave, less then steller comments, do you have nothing better to do then peruse through google telling off everyone, and every buisness you see? You have to understand we all have our bad days, and I get that, but you still dont need to be mean and nasty toward people YOU dont know. Personaly if u take the time to say hello, and be friendly toward them, you might get the same respect back. I hope for everyone who works at the Village Bake Shoppe that reads this, I miss you all, and i hope to come out again soon! Say hi to everyone from me! Having been voted best wedding cakes for the past 5 yrs and best bakery the past 2yrs this shoppe is awsome, Having did thousands of wedding cakes for brides for the past 30 years and now added a fabulous flower shop on the lower level,we strive to do the best and give personalized service,if you had a great experieince with the bakery tell your friends if you were unhappy about something tell us so we can work to keep our reputaion what it is.Having read some of the reviews on here about the bakery and flower shoppe let the truth be said that they may be a review,but for all you people who love the bakery and flower shoppe know that what has been said neagatively on here is NOT THE TRUTH the truth speaks for itself BEST WEDDING CAKES AND BAKERY VOTED BY YOU. Very cheap looking arraignments with too many filler greens. I was sold on the unique styling designs I was promised. Usually you get what you pay for. I should have spent less and used Phoebe. When I complained, I spoke to the owner who was… let's say unprofessional is an understatement. I would never recommend Village to any bride. I wouldn't even buy a single stem from them, even if they had the last flower in the valley on Valentine's day.‎

I love this bakery and i would never go anywhere else to get a sweet something to eat!!! i love all of the employes!! they are all so nice!!! I know them personaly and when i am older i hope to get my wedding cake frome there!!!! the experience is so nice and i love how lovely the decorations that the baked goods have are!!! They have a very wide veriety and i just love it!!!!‎

This shoppe is near where I work so I went with a co-worker of mine to get something a little sweet during lunch. The woman who waited on us was incredibly rude, but I ordered anyway. I have to say that I did not enjoy my dessert. The cake was average and the icing was entirely flavorless. I could see that some of their display cakes were very attractive and intricate; however, my guess is that they would not taste as good as they looked.‎
