small place, poor service, food so-so

Me and my girlfriend went to eat here on 9/19/2009 at the time only a few people were outside and it was late in the afternoon(maybe three tables),we sat a waited and no one served us(15 to 25min.wait).Being that we are a interracial couple maybe that's why we didn't get served,first and last time going.

Just about the worst food I have ever had.
Italian should not be that difficult.
I believe I was served leftovers.
Tasted very stale and canned.
Would have felt better at MacDonald's!!!

I have frequented this restaurant over the years. I've never had their pizza prefering to stick to their pasta dishes. Their Tortellini with spinach sauce has always been a go-to item for me. The small salad and a glass or two of white Zinfandel with the Tortellini dish has always been a wonderfully relaxing lunch. Even with the relatively small interior, I never felt cramped or my personal space violated. The staff has always been courteous, I've never had any complaints, sometimes they may have been a little slower than desired but that would have been because they cater parties and such in an upstairs room. I can't describe the area as I've never been up there.

I cannot remeber the last time I had such a bad meal. I ordered Garlic bread with Mozarella to start off with and they brought me Mozarella and tomato. Things happen, so this did not bother me. So, as I waited I can hgere the ladies who were seated behind me complaining about the service etc., a few minutes later the waiter comes out with my Garlic Bread and Mozarella. The had taken the Mozarella balls from the tomatoe dish and partially melted them atop the bread? The balls were falling-off the bread.. Some guy was sitting at the bar (heavy set) playing the role of big-shot! He was talking to one of the waiters about something when I asked him if he was the owner, he said that is was a family business. I then (in a very nice way informed him of the propper way to make garlic Bread. He said the way I explained is the way the make it. When I informed him of how mine was prepared. He apologized and that was it. The waiter then came along and asked if I would like grated mozarella with my Entree (Lasagna), yes, I replied. The waiter brought me back what he thought was Mozarella. When In fact it was garlic salt, I tunred the shaker over the salt came pouring out of the jar! I pushed back the top layer took a few bites and was not impressed. The sausage was the most bland, and I was not crazy about the sauce! At this point I was ready to leave I asked the waiter for the check. The waiter was very nice. The Big guy was most unprofessional and was more in playing the roll of a "Big Chief" as oppsoed to servicing the customers.

I heard from the Grapevine that this place has OK Pizza, but not to waste ones time on any of the other dishes.

I will not go back there.
